In the demanding world of motorsports, hearing protection is critical. Whether you're competing professionally or just using a motor vehicle for recreation, the damage on your hearing can be extreme unless you have adequate hearing protection. Sustained high rev engine noise for long periods inflicts serious strain on your hearing.

Hearing Protection.
Even if you wear a crash helmet, this will not protect your hearing sufficiently. Wind noise and engine noise at high speed are normally above a 115db. Your hearing can only sustain a volume level of 115db for a maximum of fifteen minutes before damage occurs. But fortunately, with the use of high quality hearing protection, the noise level can be reduced to below 90db, giving you a safe hearing period of eight hours
